Description
The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame is located within Downtown Macon's Museum District. It houses the state of Georgia's athletic heritage. We take great pride in the fact that our hall of fame is the nation's largest state sports museum! Each year we induct new members to our hall of fame that either lived in Georgia or played in Georgia. A couple of most well known inductees are Bobby Jones, Hank Aaron, and Bobby Cox. We feature exhibits that chronicle high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic sports in Georgia. Our interactive area caters to people of all ages.
