Command Zone Games Brings New Products to Downtown

Command Zone Games celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, April 18, at their 555 Poplar Street location. Command Zone sells supplies for table top gaming, including Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. In addition, there will be space for tournaments of 100 or more people.

“There was a definite need not only for the cards and supplies but also for the tournament space. We can host large tournaments or several events for multiple card games simultaneously,” says Michael Starr, store manager. “There are other stores in Macon that carry some gaming supplies but they just don’t have the inventory, specialized knowledge or the space that we have for large tournaments.”

“We have had this idea for years and we had an investor approach us to help us make this store a reality,” says Jonathan McNatt, store owner. “There is a lot to coordinate with owning a business. There are always obstacles but interacting with our customers and players make it worth it.”

Command Zone Games will be open Sunday – Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., and Friday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
